Half Price Books in Berkeley

Here is a great place to buy books. Yes there are a great many independent booksellers in the Oakland area, but Half Price Books is notable for being simply a great shopping experience. Not only are there great book finds new & used, but also divination decks, used CDs & records, software & games, and toys & DVDs for the kids.

The store is quite spacious and easy to get lost in.

For a chain store, this Half Price Books has a great Berkeley feel with a caring and knowledgeable staff. Check it out next time you find yourself on Shattuck.
